Volunteers are at the heart of what we do at Baytree.
The Volunteer Service at The Baytree Centre is a diverse community of volunteers who contribute their skills and experiences to the benefit of all the women and girls who attend the centre, as well as for their own personal development.
We have, on average, 120 volunteers involved in the centre every week, responsible for the delivery of the vast majority of our provision. The centre would not exist without the support, commitment and energy of our volunteers.
Volunteering is an excellent and worthwhile way to gain skills and experience and meet new people while boosting your CV and giving back to the local community. To help you benefit from volunteering we offer training and workshops ranging from social media skills to youth work training and presentation skills. For more information on training please visit Training opportunities.
Volunteering opportunities at Baytree are varied and exciting, with the opportunity to work in a number of different departments and roles with adults and children or both. For more information please visit Volunteering in our after school clubs or Volunteer mentors.
