The Baytree Centre strives to give back to its volunteers by helping them towards acquiring relevant experience and relevant accreditation.
Would you like to help out with the Friday Creche club from 4-5:30pm September onwards and gain an accredited qualification as well? An organisation called Play 100 is running Playwork and Safeguarding training throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity to understand the importance of learning through play. For further information contact Una at una@baytreecentre.co.uk or talk to Una in Room 6.
"Everyone is really supportive and friendly, and it makes me just aspire to be a better volunteer myself! I feel really well supported, having attended a training session on child protection already despite being still in my first month of volunteering, and being offered an entire range of training throughout the year."
Jessica Stoll, After School Cookery Club Volunteer. |
